White Sox Tickets, Stubs, and Memorabilia

My photo
I wanted to start a website highlighting my White Sox ticket collection. However, I think the site will be open to any sort of White Sox collections. I have a true passion for the White Sox and I am originally from the Southside of Chicago on 31st...just short of what will ALWAYS be Comiskey Park on 35th. Primarily, I hope to highlight tickets I have but the site will also highlight some other great White Sox items I have in hopes of sparking some great conversations or memories from White Sox memorabilia. I look forward to meeting new folks who have die hard passion for the White Sox.

2003 All Star Game - Chicago

Another rare item! White Sox memories are the best in baseball. Struggles, times of "almost" but not quite, frustration of being noted as the "second" team, and so much more...but in 2003 we had another moment of pride and glory. The midsummer classic came knocking on the door of Chicago! In the photo, I have a rare item...an UNCUT 2003 All Star Ticket Sheet. I had season tickets this particular year since I lived nearby at the time. I carried this sheet in a hard plastic top loader around my neck to keep it MINT and UNCUT. Simple scan and I was in the gate. This was really the first year I started to expand my collection with autographs...up to this point, I really never dealt with autographs at all. In 2003 I bought a few boxes of 2003 All Star baseballs (ones used in the game) and started my autograph hunt. The goal was one auto on each ball from every player in the 03 All Star Game. It was tough...VERY TOUGH. I found myself in a constant battle with various fans and professional autograph seekers. But at the same time...it was a blast...the "hunt" in general is a blast. Overall...the all star weekend proved to be one of my favorite times...likely because the 83 All Star Game was experienced as a kid and I am sure I have forgotten some of those memories. I cannot wait for the next one in Chicago...my guess is roughly 20-25 years.
